Druthers Brewing Coming to Albany, Opening Before New Year

Earlier this year, Druthers Brewing Company went before Albany's Zoning Committee to open up in the city's warehouse district. Now we have an idea of when it will be opening its doors.

With the surge of beer-related restaurants opening in the area, from the World of Beer in the Crossgates Mall to Wolff's Biergarten in Schenectady, it's no surprise to see Druthers joining in with their own craft beer.

Druthers II, as it will be known, will open its doors at 1053 Broadway in Albany sometime before the New Year. The location's space is over 23,000-square-feet, with the restaurant side taking up about 7,000-square-feet.

According to the Druthers' Facebook page, which also has photos of the restaurant posted:

1053 Broadway will soon be renovated into a 30 BBL (barrel) brewery with a large pub attached! At the moment, we're hoping for a New Year's opening. Stay tuned for updates!

We cannot wait to see this new addition to the warehouse district. If the Saratoga location is any indication, this will be the place to be.
