You have to give it to drunk people; when it needed they can be rather creative. Not saying that creativeness is pure brilliance but at least they give it a shot.

Like these two drunk who told police their dog was driving when their minivan crashed.

According to the police report: William McDonald was driving with Steven Schofield when they 'became tired and pulled their vehicle over.' When asked how the minivan ended up in the ditch, they responded by saying the dog was driving.

Both were arrested and now face public intoxication charges. As for the accused 'driver,' the dog is currently taking up residence at a local animal shelter.
