Does Monster Really Clean Better Than Brake Cleaner: Free Advice Friday

Full disclosure, I don't actually know if it cleans better than brake cleaner but I can tell you if it works better than the glass cleaner we had lying around the studio.

You may have seen this video making the rounds on social media supposedly showing that a can of Monster Energy Drink will clean a dirty work bench better then brake cleaner. The video looks pretty convincing however it shows an already open can of Monster so you can't be 100% sure what is exactly in the can so we thought we would test out this theory ourselves.

Only problem is that we didn't have any brake cleaner, but we did have some glass cleaner and we figured if it will clean better than brake cleaner then it will definitely clean better than glass cleaner right?
