Bungie has unveiled that PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners will be getting special access to exclusive guns, gear, ships, maps and an additional dungeon for its upcoming FPS, Destiny.

After an amazing showing at E3 2014 last week followed by a successful weekend of alpha testing, Bungie has revealed on the PlayStation Blog some of the exclusive items and content your Guardians will have access to for playing Destiny on a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4. The two biggest features are the Dust Palace Strike (Strikes are Destiny's three-man dungeons) and a special Crucible level (Destiny's version of competitive multiplayer).

In terms of gear, there will be the Manifold Seeker armor for the Warlock class. Titan class Guardians will get the Vanir set, and Hunters will get the Argus armor.

Guardians on PlayStation consoles will also be getting the Hawkmoon hand cannon, which has an elaborate hawk feather design along its barrel. The Monte Carlo assault rifle is a clean and precise gun that will be excellent for beginners.

There will also be three different ships included with the PlayStation versions of Destiny. The Aurora Wake, Crypt Hammer and Outrageous Fortune vessels all look similar, but your ship's color scheme will depend on which class you decide to play as.

Destiny is set to launch on Sept. 9 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
