And the bad news continues with the Yankee captain.  Derek Jeter had a CT scan of his injured ankle and it revealed a small crack.  "We're looking at, in terms of speculation when Derek Jeter will be back with us, sometime after the All-Star break," Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told ESPNNewYork.com.

Jeter played briefly in Spring Training but was unable to turn his body while at the plate and couldn't field ground balls.   He then proceeded to start the season on the disabled list.  Recently, Jeter took two straight days off from baseball activities and rehab to rest the ankle.  He hasn't done anything since in terms of recovery from the broken ankle.

Eduardo Nunez will continue to man shortstop for New York until Jeter returns.
