Business is booming!

You may have enjoyed some delicious and strong coffee from local Round Lake coffee company Death Wish Coffee from time to time (it may even be your go-to coffee) and it looks like thanks to their Super Bowl 50 commercial, the rest of the country is looking to start enjoying it as well!

I'd like to say that the Q family had a bit of a hand in helping Death Wish Coffee win the Small Business Big Game contest put on by Intuit Quickbooks (I'm not sure if that's entirely true but we were sure rooting and voting for them). Regardless, they put in the work and brought home the win and won themselves a 30-second TV commercial, that was worth like $5 million, and aired during Super Bowl 50.

Now that 30-second ad seems to be really paying off for the company. According to The Saratogian the owners have begun discussions about the possibility of national accounts with the likes of Target, Wegman’s and the Home Shopping Network!

They talked to owner Mike Brown about their web traffic who said:

We got 100,000 hits almost immediately, within 10 minutes. That’s 10 times what we typically do on an average day. We’re still doing four or five times more per day than we did before the Super Bowl. I came back from San Francisco to a whole new business.

Now it seems like Mike at the company is focusing on "Taking advantage of the opportunity while it's here" and "getting our coffee into the hands of as many people as possible" and we couldn't be happier for them!

Now get yourself a cup of "The Worlds Strongest Coffee" and check out a video we did with Death Wish Coffee back when they were still in the voting phases of the contest.
