David Cassidy Arrested For DWI In Schodack

Former teen idol David Cassidy will soon be making an appearance in Schodack - for all the wrong reasons. The former child star of The Partridge Family was arrested early this morning for DWI.

The singer was stopped by police around 2 am on the Columbia Turnpike near Miller Road and had a BAC of .10 percent. He has since been charged with Felony DWI and Failure to Dim Headlights.

Cassidy posted $2,500 bail this morning and will return in September for a court hearing.

This isn't the first time he has been arrested for DUI, the last time was in 2010 in Florida. That previous arrest made this mornings charges a felony.

According to police, Cassidy was "cooperated and a gentleman".
