Crowd Surfing at a Filter Show

The band Filter will be stopping by the Q103 studios today at 5pm! They'll be discussing their most recent album, what they have been up to, current tour and the show tomorrow night at Jillians of Albany.  Being the newest personality on Q103, I wish I was to interview them as I have a funny story about myself at a Filter show. 

In my earlier years, I would have to say that I was a HUGE Filter fan.  When I found out the band was to perform at a summer festival here in the Capital Region, I wasted no time to get myself a pair of tickets. As bunch of my friends and I passed thru the gates,  I decided that when Filter broke into 'Hey Man Nice Shot' I was going to crowed surf. Which seemed like a good idea no harm there and it looked fun. I was determined!!

As soon as I heard the first chord, of 'Hey Man Nice Shot' it became GO-TIME.  There was no turning back. I was going to crowd surf and look good while doing it. My friend boosted me up and I was off surfing the crowd. It was awesome and fun....  until some guys thought it would be a good idea for them to reach into my pants and rip my lime green thong out!!

Holy S!  Not only am I crowd surfing for the first time, I'm now surfing commando and out of the corner of my eye, I see my lime green thong being passed around and thrown on stage,  talking about embarrassment... but those Filter fans are crazy!!

If you too wanna have a memorable time and good story like me, Filter will be at Jillians of Albany tomorrow night, 59 North Pearl St. downtown Albany. Tickets are $18-$20, show starts at 7:30pm, and when I see the guys later today I'm going to tell them "I want my thong back"!!!
