When I was a kid I longed for Air Jordans. And why wouldn't I? The Bulls were killing it and MJ was born and lived in the same city I was from. Win-win if you ask me! Problem is, they cost $100 beans and Mama Adams wasn't made of money. Fast forward to today.

Jordans are still all the rage and the price tag is $170 and in Ohio, people are tearing mall doors off the hinges. Here's the best part- people are literally paying for vouchers that they redeem in a week.

Crazy!

By the way, after a stellar year of killing it in school, I finally got my one and only pair of Jordans. I'm pretty sure that was the last pair sneakers I ever received.
