A party at a Saratoga County bowling alley got way out of control over this past weekend, causing cops to move in and break up numerous fights.

According to the Times Union, the party took place at Spare Time Lanes bowling alley in Halfmoon and resulted in the arrest of two people. Sheriff's were called to the location after a 911 disturbance call about a crowd becoming  large and unruly at a private event that was taking place there. When deputies arrived at the scene they discovered a crowd of about 800, and many fights began to break out, with property being damaged. Arrested were 20 yr old Kulsum H. Larry of Albany for resisting arrest and 18 yr old Lamine Diakite of New York City for resisting arrest, attempted grand larceny, and attempted possession of a weapon. A third individual ( a 21 yr old Brooklyn man) was given an appearance ticket for a violation.

Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo speculated that the party could've been related to a concert hosted by rap/hip-hop star Ja Rule who had performed in the area earlier that night.
