Comedy is pretty subjective. A comedian that some find hilarious, others may hate.

In the case of comedian Dylan Avila, someone REALLY didn't like his act.

You know how we know this? Because while he was performing at an open mic night at a comedy club in Renton, Wash., someone from the audience came up on stage and hit him with an aluminum baseball bat, fracturing his skull, KOMO 4 News reported.

So, yeah, they didn't like his act.

Avila is recovering in the hospital, and now has two metal plates holding his dome together.

Despite the incident, he doesn't seem phased by the incident and says he won't give up comedy.

Plus, he is the guy who runs the open mic night at The Local 907 in Renton.
