Cheap Trick just dropped their first ever Christmas album, we caught up with axe man Rick Nielsen to find out why it took over 40 years for Christmas Christmas to arrive...

Cheap Trick has been pumping killer rock albums out for us, nearly every year, for the last four decades. This year they put out two albums! The first, "We're All Right" came out earlier this year and just last week the band dropped their first ever Christmas album appropriately titled "Christmas Christmas".

I got a chance to catch up with Cheap Trick's guitarist Rick Nielsen were we talked a little bit about why after over 40 years they finally decided to put out a holiday album, the eclectic mix of tunes they chose to record, holiday traditions, the one band he hasn't got a chance to work with, and of course the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You can listen to our full interview below and you can pick up Cheap Tricks new album "Christmas Christmas" to add to your holiday tradition any where you go to consume your music!
