Celtic Rockers Dropkick Murphys to Play Albany Capital Center

Looks like the Capital Region will be getting the St. Patrick's Day celebrations underway a bit early in 2018!

If you know me even a little bit then you know that I love a good live show but what you may not know is that what really gets me excited is a killer punk rock show! Now, tell me that I don't have to drive 2+ hours to see it and my heart might just skip a beat.

Let me tell you, the Albany Capital Center and Step Up Presents sure know the way to this girls heart. They recently announced that one of the first major concerts happening at the new Albany Capital Center is going to be none other than Celtic punk rockers Dropkick Murphys!

Not only are they one of my favorite bands but they put on one of the most energetic live shows I have ever seen. Every year they generally go on a pretty extensive St. Patrick's Day run but usually it involves me taking a drive and possibly securing an overnight stay. In 2018 however, the tour is coming right here to the Capital Region.

The show is will be happening at the new Albany Capital Center on Sunday, February 25th with Agnostic Front and Bim Skala Bim opening the show doors are at 6:30pm show is at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 8th at 10am for $35 each. You can get yours by clicking HERE.
