Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister, passed away yesterday at his home in Los Angeles, CA, just days after being diagnosed with cancer.

Lemmy was the founder, bassist and lead vocalist of the British Heavy Metal band, Motorhead.

Best known for his unique voice, stage presence and reputation of being the epitome of a "Rock Star."

Lemmy is credited as being a major influence on most bands of the Heavy Metal genre.

Lemmy's presence was not restricted to Heavy Metal, Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" was featured in the popular video game "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3."

Motorhead's "The Game" which is theme song to WWE Superstar Triple H, has gained so much popularity over the years since it's release, it is now herd at sporting events, on radio and television, world wide.

Lemmy's legacy is the impact that he has made on our culture, you always know when you are listening to Lemmy, because of his voice, he turned a theme song into an anthem and lived a hard lifestyle that immortalized him as a "Rock God."
