A popular Capital Region area brewery has suddenly closed it's doors.

According to The Saratogian, the brewery and taproom at 131 Excelsior Ave. has closed with no explanation as to why. Saratoga Brewing Company general manager Max Oswald said he could not comment on the brewery's closing. A sign on the front door of the brewery on Wednesday morning said that they were closed due to inclement weather and they included a winking emoji face. A social media post from Brooklyn based Braven Brewing Company (a partner brewery to Saratoga Brewing Company) seems to shed a little more light on the situation though. The post entitled 'Final Chapter at Saratoga' shows pics of brewery representatives removing product from the building. See below.

It's a shame that we are losing a great brewery here in the Capital Region. What are your thoughts on the closing of Saratoga Brewing Company?
