After the huge success of last year’s Grammy-nominated album California, Blink-182 have released a video for their song “Home Is Such a Lonely Place,” directed by Jason Goldwatch for the Decon production company. The video is out now, with three additional solo videos of each member expected to follow in the next week (June 14, 15 and 16). Watch the video above.

“The video for 'Home is Such a Lonely Place' was probably the easiest we’ve ever filmed. All we had to do was be ourselves at home with our family and friends, as we prepared to leave for tour. Consequently, it's also our most personal and honest videos, and one of my favorites,” said singer Mark Hoppus.

Director Goldwatch added, “My idea was to find the intimacy and honesty that was written into the fabric of the song. Blink videos raised me, and there was always a fascinating self-aware wink that held an understated genius inside of their visuals, and inside of all of their work. Shooting this on a Super 8mm captures the raw side of them, a way we haven’t seen them before.”

Hoppus was surprised by the enormous success of the band in 2016. “As long as Blink has been around and with all the drama we have a number one album, we have the biggest tour of our career and we have a Grammy nomination. It’s insane to me,” said the singer to Billboard.

California debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, while the tracks “Bored to Death” and “She’s Out of Her Mind” both hit No. 1 at radio. They successfully headlined their sold-out summer tour in the States and will continue touring throughout 2017 in addition to their "Blinkin Park" shows with Linkin Park in July (dates below). The deluxe edition of California is available now with 11 new songs.

The band recently wrapped up a string of US shows and will be headed to Europe for the summer, with a few East Coast U.S. dates wrapping up their summer tour. See their tour schedule below.
