We are going through the year that was and looking at some of the best moments from the Free Beer & Hot Wings show this morning from 6a-10a.

In a year that took us across the country with Producer Joe (a couple times) we look back on some of the highlights that made us laugh, vomit and sometimes moved us to tears.  First of all we would like to thank all of you, the listeners, for making the show what it is.  Without you we wouldn't be where we are, so as always thank you for listening.

So 2010, what can we say?  The show was on fire.  We discovered Zane's love for catchy pop tunes, Hot Wings revealed once again that he can't tell a joke or make a decision and Free Beer decided it was OK to carry a man purse.  Many debates took place, they pranked us with the "salt experiment" and we got reintroduced to the interview extraordinaire, Dude Shadoway.

One of my most memorable moments from the year was when they sent Joe to Gary, Indiana on the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.  Not only did he mock all the crazy people camping outside of MJ's childhood home he also made it onto live television dressed in full Thriller outfit.  Unbelievable. You could never ask for a stunt to go better.  If you haven't seen the video check it out:

There were several viral videos sweeping the internet this year but none more powerful than Bear, "the double rainbow guy".  Not only did Joe track him down for an interview on air he then set out on a 5 day journey to find him and bring him to Los Angeles.  Once again Joe made it big.  He dropped Bear off and then headed to protest the release of Lindsay Lohan where he not only stood right next to Michael Lohan, but he once again made it onto live TV.

How could we forget the shows stop here in the Capital Region for Q103's Rocktoberfest.  They did a live broadcast from Jay Street Video Games, Played some live Dumber Than Zane Trivia at Capital OTB then headed over Northern Lights for the big show starring Pop Evil.  That was an awesome night and if you missed it, that sucks for you.  I would have to say the biggest moment of the night would have to be when Zane joined Mrozek on stage to play on the now infamous love song Mrozek played for them on the air.

So 2010 was a pretty damn good year for Q103 and the Free Beer & Hot Wings show.  Thanks again for listening and keep it on Q103 in 2011 for some big things. Now Go Rock Yourself!
