William Guarnere was born in to America's greatest generation and passed away a hero.

"Wild Bill" passed away at the age of 90 Saturday night from a ruptured aneurysm. During WWII Bill served in the infamous Easy Company, 506th Regiment part of 101st Airborne Division. These men fought in some of the most brutal battles during WWII. One of these battles was the Battle of the Bulge, were Bill lost one of his legs trying to help a wounded solder.

His compassion for his fellow solders continued even during the filming of HBO's "Band of Brothers," as he worked behind the scenes making sure everyone got their recognition.

We are grateful for William Guarnere and the rest of our vets sacrifices. Wild Bill will surely be missed.
