Aussie Get REALLY Excited About A River

In his defense, the river wasn't there when he started filming.

So apparently it's flooding in Australia right now. I'm not sure if this is 'catastrophic rain' or 'finally rain', but it's rained enough that a desert crater is the largest lake in Australia right now.

In this video, a guy sees a river happening. Like two minutes ago this was dry, now it's a river. He seems to have a name for the river as well. I don't know if this river had dried up before and had a name or if this guy is just naming it, but I'm hoping for the latter and that he's naming it after himself.

Multiple times in the video the guy exclaims how lucky he must is to be seeing this. After hearing it enough times I'm not totally sure if he's being sarcastic or not.
