Next week, there's going to be a celebration happening at The Egg.  The Pete Seeger Centennial Concert is happening, with Arlo Guthrie among twelve others present to perform and celebrate.

While Pete Seeger passed away in 2014, Guthrie and more are aiming to keep his memory and his music alive.  The concert also is noted to have a social and environmental cause, helping to support 'Clearwater' and the Hudson River.

In a recent interview I read on newyorkupstate.com, Guthrie talked all about his Pete Seeger memories.  From musical influence to social activism, Guthrie gave some insight into who Pete Seeger was.  You can read the interview here.  The concert is happening May 23rd at the Egg, as part of the 'New York Living Legacy' series.
