The The is an English post-punk band since the last ‘70s. Well, the name sure makes for an easy chant as the crowd is screaming for them to come on stage.

According to Josh P. who commented, these guys are a great early 90s thrash-punk band. I’ve got to be honest though, their name makes me feel like I’m about to see a show involving LSD and jam music...

Toad the Wet Sprocket
Thank you Robert S! Ok, I love this band. Really, “Come Down” is one of my favorites. I even worked for this band, and loved them live. But what’s with the name! Even IF there is a back story, who thought this was catchy???

Goo Goo Dolls
Since I mentioned the above successful band, I also have to mention Goo Goo Dolls. Thanks for the suggestion Jeff H.! Really, this was a great one. I actually vividly remember the first time I learned their band name. It was back in the ‘90s, I was watching a new music video of theirs on TV, and I literally did a double-take thinking that I was reading the bottom left corner wrong- you know, that area where the song information used to be...back when music videos were still played on TV...
