Pay attention fellas. Think you know everything about the female anatomy?  Think again.  We’re going to tell you some valuable information about that little love button you’re clamoring to find.

Dudes everywhere take pride in the ability to please their woman–and the clitoris is the key to this achievement.  The clitoris has been overlooked by scientists for years.  Turns out, major medical discoveries regarding the clitoris weren’t discovered until 2009 (what?), and they still aren’t common knowledge.  So we’re bringing the knowledge straight to you, once you stop giggling about the word clitoris.

First, a few simple facts about the clitoris;

1) Its sole purpose is pleasure

2) It’s located at the top of the vulva just under a “hood.” (you can Google map it)

3) It contains approximately 8,000 sensory nerve fibers; which is nearly twice the amount found on the head of a penis. Jealous?!?

You may or may not have known those little facts about the little man in the canoe, but we bet you didn’t know this — the female clitoris is actually internal, and a lot bigger than just one little love nub.

According to The Museum of Sex in New York, “the clitoris is made up of the external glans, two corpora cavernosa, two crura, and the clitoral vestibules (or bulbs). ” Need a visual?  Check out this photo of an erect internal clitoris.

Alright, enough with the scientific mumbo jumbo.  Why should you care about where the clitoris is, and how big it is?  Well hang on a second, we’re about to tell you:

“When erect, the corpora cavernosa encircles the vagina on either side.  Near each of the crura on either side of the vaginal opening are the clitoral vestibules. These are internally under the labia majora. When they become engorged with blood they cuff the vaginal opening causing the vulva to expand outward. Get them excited, and you’ve got a randy, tighter-feeling vaginal opening.”

So if you buckle down and give your girl the proper lip service she deserves– the both of you are guaranteed to have a wild night.  To learn more about the internal clitoris go to the Museum of Sex or just get a girlfriend.
