Albany-Schenectady Drug Ring Popped

Any day where a drug ring within the Capital Region is popped is a good day. Well today is one of those days.

It is reported that 12 people who had ties in a drug ring that dealt in heroin, crack and cocaine have been arrested in the area. This ring is said to have been operational between August of last year until May of this year. But the story escalates and gets even scarier than just drug dealing. One of the men actually is on parole on a murder charge.

I personally applaud the boys in blue and anyone who had a hand in the arrests of this drug ring. Drugs and especially heroin are epidemics to the Capital Region. Just to see dealers put in jail is a win. All of this went down when the FBI raided one of the members homes this past May and found all sorts of paraphernalia inside.
