Sad news coming down the line over the past coupe of days or so. The Q is super saddened to learn of the passing of bassist, co-songwriter, and founding member of Harvey Danger, Aaron Huffman (far left).

According to a very emotional tribute from his bandmate Sean Nelson on The Stranger, Arron had been suffering from a lengthy illness and had been hospitalized for about the last 7 months. Arron lost his battle with his illness on Sunday passing away from respiratory failure at the age of 43.

You may remember Aaron from his band Harvey Danger and their hit from the 90's 'Flagpole Sitta' off their debut album 'Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone?' it's one you can still hear today right here on the Q.

Aside from Harvey Danger Arron worked as an artist and designer at The Stranger and he worked with several musical projects like Love Hotel, Like Lightning, and Campfire OK (now renamed The Weather).

R.I.P. Aaron Huffman
