A New Traffic Pattern For Rexford Bridge

Rexford Bridge is a known slow spot for traffic. Many parents picking their kids up in Niskayuna and many people trying to avoid the Northway. Now it will be a little smoother for travel.

Now some people have love hate relationships with traffic circles, I personally love them. However, when people don't know how to navigate them or read the arrows correctly they can become a pain. With that in mind though. How long do you sit in traffic in Ballston Spa and Malta? I used to work up that way for 3 years and hardly even encountered a traffic issue navigating those and there are a lot of them.

Well now the intersection just before the Rexford Bridge at Route 146 / Balltown Road and Aqueduct Road and Williams Street will be seeing a one lane roundabout come next weekend.

Yes it will take a little getting used to but I am sure it will speed things up during rush hour tremendously. Also next year the bridge itself will be widened to a four lane roadway and will then allow for a two lane traffic circle.
