Obviously we have a dense amount of breweries in our state. Here is how you can try many of them rather cheaply.

Craft Beer is a craze all across the US but I know many many people who love craft styles. Even if your just a casual drinker of beer I would guess there is one style or more of non traditional beer that appeals to you. Many of us get into the craft beer scene at least locally via Sam Adams or Saranac. But let us not forget NY has a lot of craft beer selections.

Even bringing the microscope down we have many a brewery just in the capital region alone. I would first like to take a moment to give some props to Google Maps and Brew York and also Thrillest as well for this lovely map we see above. Now onto some local brewers..

  • Chatham Brewing
  • Honey Hollow Brewing Company
  • S & S Farm Brewery
  • Helderberg Brewery (Carey Institute)

Now that is literally only the Capital Region. Some breweries some brew pubs. All of which I am sure produce some especially tasty beverages of the craft variety. Some of which will be on hand at Troy on Tap for a three hour sampling session. For a very reasonable price you may experience the delight and splendor of some of these breweries finest examples and some from beyond. A link below will bring you to Troy on Tap's website.
