As if I didn't find myself getting sucked into the regular American Ninja Warrior for hours on end a new Junior version begins this weekend that happens to have a Capital Region local competing!

American Ninja warrior is definitely one of those shows that will suck you in for extended periods of time. Partly because it always airs like 10 episodes in a row and partly because you really want to see these athletes complete (or totally fail) those crazy obstacles and courses.

Well, this weekend a new Junior version of the show hits the airwaves where children or 'Ninja Kids' will test there athletic abilities on equally crazy courses. To top it all off we will have a Capital Region local to root for on Saturday when American Ninja Warrior Junior airs.

According to the TU 9 year old Saratogian Oliver or 'Ollie' Huss, who's father owns the Sartoga Ninja Garage, will be featured on the show after submitting videos made in the local garage and becoming a nationally ranked ninja star through competitions. If you would like to watch and cheer on Ollie the show premiers Saturday night October 13th at 7pm on the Universal Kids channel.
