Troy police are currently investigating an alleged homicide that in which a 16-year-old teenager lost his life.

According to a witness, 16-year-old Eshane Walker was seen arguing with a "bunch of kids." Friday evening at 447 Second Avenue.  As the boy walked away, he was stabbed in the "back or side and fell to the ground," according to News 10 ABC.

The witness also commented to News10, "It was pretty sad to see. For 20 minutes EMTS and Troy Police did their best with chest compressions."

Walker was pronounced dead at St. Mary's hospital.
