Were you one of the many who had 'sticker shock' upon opening your electric bill over the winter? Well get ready for more thanks to an announcement from National Grid.

If you had hoped that your bill would lower now that you aren't turning the heat up as much; the opposite is happening. National Grid says that customers should expect their May bill to increase as much as $30.

The electric company says the increase is due to an abnormally cold March, so they have to readjust bills to compensate.

Another lie to just milk us for more? No one is providing actual answers as to why the bills were so high over the winter. It's a pointing fingers game and no one is getting answers amid calls for investigations from politicians.
