WWE will be coming back to NY July 17 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Lets take a look back at all the big moments that have happened in the Capital Region.

On March 30, 1998 at the then named Pepsi Arena, after Shawn Micheals was forced to retire due to a back injury the night prior at Wrestlemania 14. Triple H and Chyna were the only members left in Degeneration-X. Triple H knew he had to form an army to dominate the WWE during the Monday Night Wars and on this night the New Age Outlaws and the returning X-Pac (formerly 1-2-3 Kid and Syxx) joined to form the a new DX.

Next up, WWE Brought a Pay Per View to the TU. It was one show no fan would forget. No Mercy 2000 with a main event was The Rock vs Kurt Angle in an NO DQ match. This would be the first time the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle would win the WWE Championship in his career. That wasn't the only highlight of that night either, Stone Cold Steve Austin would also make his return to the ring. In that process he also was arrested behind the arena by Albany PD. I still maintain that it was real. There was even an awesome commercial for this...

On December 27, 2010 the Nexus had just lost their leader Wade Barrett  but that didn't stop them from making sure the whole roster knew who they where. Throughout the whole show CM Punk had said he had a message to give John Cena. During the main event match, which consisted of John Cena vs David Otunga (member of nexus)Cena was attacked by the Nexus. CM Punk then came out and dropped a pipe bomb on everyone and announced he was the new leader of the Nexus. This shocked everybody both in the live crowd, at home and members of the WWE roster. Especially John Cena

When the WWE comes back to the Glens Falls Civic Center on July 17 you never know what may happen from a returning superstar to a main event of a life time. This will be what is called a house show and sometimes the matches on these cards can be better.
