I am going to take a hard pass on this one. However, I will gladly watch you attempt such a feat.

As part of this years Freight Fest at Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George the amusement park will be bringing back (apparently they have done this before) their Cockroach Eating Contest. Where if you can manage to chow down on a LIVE 3-inch hissing Madagascar cockroach faster than anyone else you could win some "appetizing" prizes including a 2019 Great Escape Season Pass.

If you want in, and think that it is worth it, you can enter the contest October 6th - 8th at the Storytown Stage during Fright Fest. Signup begins at 4pm the contests goes down at 4:45pm!

A live cockroach is not something I could personally stomach. I think I would fare better at the 30 hours in a coffin contest that Six Flags St. Louis is holding. The creepy I can handle but eating a living being, no thanks. Plus, I kind of think their prize is a bit better. The person that manages to last 30 hours gets $300, two 2019 Gold Season Passes, a Fright Fest prize package, two VIP Haunted House passes, and a ticket for two to ride the Freak Train for Freak Unleashed. Plus, you can take the coffin home if you want to!
