Around the country last night the news broke about the worlds most notorious terrorist finally being brought down by the USA and the announcement was made everywhere. When big news hits you have to spread the word.  Last night was no exception as news spread quickly that US Special Forces had killed Osama Bin Laden.  I think that the general reaction was about the same everywhere that you go.  People were celebrating in New York City at Ground Zero and in Washington DC in front of the White House.  A lot of folks were in bed, but some were attending various events around the country from baseball to wrestling.

WWE wrestler John Cena broke the news to the crowd at their spring Pay Per View "Extreme Rules" last night.  Some actually say that the first one to break the news on Twitter was Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson who tweeted it.  I guess Cena is perfect for this type of thing.  He is the most popular wrestler right now and who better to announce?  A fan was able to catch the moment on tape, since the WWE doesn't seem to be big on sharing.

During the ninth inning of the Mets and Phillies game last night the news quickly broke across the crowd. Everyone joined in USA-USA-USA chants in celebration. A great and patriotic moment for the country.  Something even more unlikely than finding and killing Osama Bin Laden, the Mets won 2-1!
