A Minnesota woman lost her life Saturday after Columbia County Sheriff's say she tried to flee police and crashed into a truck, leaving three in Albany Med.

Driving in the wrong lane on Route 9 in Ghent led Sheriff's to pull over Kasandra Solverson, Saturday. As police were approaching her vehicle she drove off, slamming into a pick-up truck. 26-year-old Solverson was killed in the accident.

The driver of the truck, 19-year-old Kyle Macfarlane, and his passengers 24-year-old Brian Macfarlane and 23-year-old Brian Laraway Jr., were transported to Albany Medical Center, with their condition unknown at this time.

Police are unsure if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident as the investigation continues.
