Wine and Dine Festival in Albany This Weekend

Get ready to wine and dine Albany!

According to the Times Union, the ninth annual Wine & Dine for the Arts Festival starts today (1/11) through Saturday (1/13) at Albany City Hall. Tickets for the event can be purchased here. The event kicks off today (Thursday) with the opening reception from 5:30-7pm at City Hall in Albany. Friday is the Grand Tasting from 4-8pm around the base of The Egg at Empire State Plaza featuring 70 chefs and 250 global wines and spirits along with NY beers.

Plus there will be seminars and demos followed by the Slider Slam featuring sliders of beer, wine, and cocktails. Saturday it's a Grand Tasting from Noon-4pm followed at 6 pm by the Gala reception and dinner at the Empire State Plaza concourse. Last year's event drew over 3,000 people and raised over $100,000 for Albany-based arts organizations.VIP Festival tickets are already sold out while regular tickets are expected to go fast, so act quickly.
