During their halftime performance at last night's Super Bowl, Black Eyed Peas band member Will.i.am changed a few of the lyrics of "Where is the love" to get a message across to president Obama.

Skip to 9:00 minutes to see the change. Will.i.am clearly says: "In America we need to get things straight / Obama, let's get these kids educated / Create jobs so the country stays stimulated."

Was this a good or bad idea? Was this planned?

It was smart to say this when hundreds upon thousands of people (probably including Obama) are watching, but what will this cost the Black Eyed Peas, if anything? Will Obama take his words to heart?

I don't think this is a big deal. I think he, along with everyone else, just wants things to improve. Obama is already aware of this, so maybe this will be an extra push for him to make things happen.
