Steven Tyler's new book "Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?- A Rock N Roll Memoir" came out last week and is loaded with tales of sex, drugs and rock n roll.  I'm a huge Aerosmith fan and was first in line to get the book.  It's fun to read and have found some wild things you might not have known about Steven Tyler!

He's outrageous that's for sure! Steven Tyler - the American Idol Judge and front man for Aerosmith tells it all in his book.

Does the Dude look like a lady?  He does admit to having a homosexual experience in his youth.  He says its not for him.

He writes that he was contacted by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page in 2008 with an offer to form a band with ex-Zeppelin members Page and John Paul Jones, as well as John Bonham's son Jason.  They rehearsed once, but realized it wouldn't work.

Steven Tyler knows his drugs, his familiarity is impressive in an encyclopedic kind of way.  These are the drugs that are mentioned in the book.  Seroquel, Neurontin, Xanax, Benzodiazepine, Valium, Librium, Cocaine, OxyContin, Lunesta, Suboxone, Dexedrine, Benzedrine, Marijuana, Heroin, Tuinol, Methamphetamine, Seconal, Amyl Nitrate, Laudanum, Quaaludes, Dilaudid, Methadone, Clonidine, LSD, Hashish, Opium. WOW!

He and Joe Perry have shared some very, uh, intimate experiences.

I remember one night on the road when Joe and I were sharing a bed with two girls and woke up in the morning with a seafood blue plate special... Crabs for everybody!

Steven also writes that he wasn't loved by everyone on the Aerosmith road crew.

I found out years later (through a crew member confessional) that when the techs would get pissed off at the band, they'd wipe their ass with the bologna and put back on the deli tray.

Whether you are a fan or not of Steven Tyler, Aerosmith or rock music, this book is enjoyable to read.  It does take you inside the head of one of the most bizarre & outrageous personalities in music.   I've met Steven and the band in the past, after reading this book I know him even better today!

Steven Tyler also has a new single called 'It Feels So Good' with a video premiere on American Idol.   Hear the song now.
