Saving Abel gradually came together with guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor, and drummer Blake Dixon.  Saving Abel performs Tuesday night with Hinder, My Darkest Days and Kopek at Northern Lights.  Doors Open at 7pm.

My first recollection with Saving Abel was in the winter of 2008.  We were looking for a new type of band that just rocked to play on Q103.   Perhaps you've seen the album cover of a hot girl in tight jeans with a Saving Abel Tattoo.  Well the CD was on my desk, I put it in the player and 'Addicted' blared from the speakers.  This was the song and we put it right on the air.   Q103 was one of the first to actually play 'Addicted' on the radio!

When they first played the area with Puddle Of Mudd in August of 2008,  I was able to meet the band backstage.  The first thing when introduced to Jared was.. Rob from QBK.. hey you guys were one of the first to play 'Addicted' , it's a pleasure to meet you!   Bands like Saving Abel are on the road quite a bit when first starting and its one of the things I like most from new rock bands.  They are extremely grateful for rock radio and these guys are no different.  As I have gotten to know Saving Abel over the past 3 years - they've played the Capital Region quite a few times and have been to the Q103 studio's as well - They are real down to earth guys and will do whatever for radio.  We hope nothing but the best and lots of success.  They've earned it.
