Well the term E3 can mean anything from a sporting event to the name of a car. But I'm talking about
the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3). For the past few years June has been month when E3 happens. The 7th-9th E3 was held at Los Angeles Convention center. During these few days we get inside look in to the video game industry. We learn what new technology is coming out and next big titles to hit the stands. This year we learned about some new hand held devices PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Wii U. Also so many new games. With so much information coming out in such little time it may make it hard to find the news that is best for you. So I going to post a few game trailers that caught my eye.

The first game that I get excited about is Battlefield 3. I have been a fan of  the battlefield franchised since Battlefield 1942. The past few Battlefield games lost me as a fan. But Battlefield 3 could be the best one of them all.

If your a gamer or have seen the Tomb Raider movies you know who Lara Croft is. There is a new Tomb Raider game coming out. This new entry to the Tomb Raider franchise has an all new look and feel. Not only did Lara Croft lose a few cup sizes she lost her witty sense of humor, tuff independent attitude, and her self confidence. The new Lara Croft just seems more girly to me.This might not be a bad thing. But if all she dose is wine, complain, and act completely fragile that might get old quick.

Some companies such as Activision and Infinity Ward like to add to the successful franchise every 12 to 18 months. That why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is scheduled to hit stands in November. I'm torn with this. As a fan I can't wait for the newest C.O.D game but on the flip side the single player is so short that can be beat in just a few hours. On the multiplayer side of things you pay so much money to play a slightly different version of the last game. But you know on 11/08/11 I'll be calling out of work.

Another franchise that likes to add a new game every 12-18 months is Assassin Creed. Assassins Creed Revelations. Will also hit stands in November. For most video games, playing the earlier version is not all that important. New games in a franchise tend to bring a new story. Games like Mass Effect and Assassin Creed are franchises the you might want to play the first few titles first. Every new title is like a new chapter in the same story. So for this game you might was to DL Assassin Creed, Assassin Creed 2, and Assassin Creed: Brotherhood from Steam or go out and find in the stores.

And The last game that I'm going to talk about was Mass Effect 3. As I said when talking about Assassin Creed, you might want to get the first two games. The plot of this game reminds me of the plot of Dragon Age: Origins, because you have to get all the other fraction together to fight a big war. Other then that I don't know much about this game but like all the games I've blogged about this is a great franchise. There are so many more great game coming out that I did not talk about here.
