Donald Trump has come and gone. The smoke has cleared in front of the Times Union Center and all that we're left with are the memories and our opinions.

It was not the circus that I wanted, but the circus that Albany deserved.

Albany was treated to a show: protestors squared off against supporters in the streets, and inside the Times Union Center, where over 10,000 Trump supporters gathered to show their support for the Republican candidate.

Trump supporter, protester clash at Albany rallyA supporter and protester got into an altercation at Donald J. Trump's rally in Albany. The supporter involved was Mike Caraher of Albany. "I have my personal rights and my personal space," he said after the rally wrapped. "They're going to start yelling about some bulls--t, I'll snatch your ass up."

We did not make national news because nothing out of the ordinary happened for a Trump rally, but the protestors and the supporters did not disappoint as they battled inside the Times Union Center before, during, and after the event.

Now that it is all over, it's back to arguing over social media, and that is what this trilogy of blog posts have been about: to encourage people to argue through social media, Facebook to be specific.

On the contrary, to those who were there on April 11, congratulations, you're now a part of Albany history like Ric Flair, who won his first WWE Heavyweight Championship at the Times Union Center in 1992. Woooo!
