Happy Birthday today  (May 3) to Bruce Hall. The REO Speedwagon bassist is 64.

Bruce Hall joined REO Speedwagon in 1977, replacing original bassist Gregg Philbin. REO Speedwagon developed a following in the 1970’s and achieved significant commercial success in the 1980’s. Their 1980 album ‘Hi Infidelity’ was the band’s best selling album with over 10 million in sales. The band has sold over 40 million records and had thirteen Top 40 hits. REO Speedwagon remains popular on the touring circuit. You can catch the guys on the road all summer as usual. Last year the band toured with Def Leppard and Tesa, this year they are out with Styx and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder. Who didn't grow up listening to REO Speedwagon when they were young? C'mon, you know you did. Cheers to Bruce Hall today!
