We lost Bobby "The Brain" Heenan this past Sunday at the age of 73.

Being a 30 plus year fan of pro wrestling, it's always tough to see your childhood heroes pass. So many wrestling legends are no longer with us, and hearing about the passing of the greatest wrestling manager of all time, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, really hit me hard. "The Weasel" as he was often referred to as was a big part of the wrestling scene when I grew up throughout the 1980's and 1990's. His impressive roster of wrestlers known as the Heenan Family included the likes of King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd, Paul Orndorff, Hercules Hernandez, Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude, Andre the Giant and many others. The Brain's chemistry with the great Gorilla Monsoon on the WWF's Prime Time Wrestling show and whenever calling play by play at wrestling events was second to none.

WWE Raw payed tribute to Bobby Heenan this week and it featured some great highlights from throughout the legend's career, but I searched the internet and found what I believe is the best tribute out there. Wrestling Superstars on Youtube put together a great video honoring Bobby Heenan with career highlights and Twitter tributes from fellow wrestling stars. It's set to a song called "The Story" from a band called Fivefold. Check out the video tribute below, and have tissues nearby...you'll need them. R.I.P. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Thank you for making mine and so many others childhood awesome. Thanks for the memories.
