Watch Out For Zombie Ants

They aren't hungry for our flesh but they are mindless drones.

After watch the show "Walking Dead" a zombie outbreak has become a real fear of mine.  I say it's because I have an overactive imagination, but we may be closer to a zombie apocalypse than you think!

Some scientists in Brazil have discovered a group of ants that are acting very zombie like.  This is because they are eating a type of fungus that has mind controlling effects.  It is a crazy thing.  Once these ants eat the fungus it takes control of them making them seek out a spot ideal for the fungus to grow. Yes the fungus then grows out of the ant, and it is helpless. Brains!  Brains!  It's crazy to because once the fungus starts growing on the ant, ants eat it!  It is only a matter of time before we start heading for the hills people.  Are you ready?
