A week after Queens of the Stone Age premiered a brand-new song at Lollapalooza Brazil, the band took the stage at Lollapalooza Chile and brought along a friend to help out on a song. Eddie Vedder joined Josh Homme and crew during 'Little Sister.'

Homme introduced the Pearl Jam frontman before they played the 2005 single from their fourth album, 'Lullabies to Paralyze.' Vedder sang and, best of all, played cowbell on the three-minute song. You can watch the video below.

Last week during their set at Lollapalooza Brazil, Queens of the Stone Age introduced 'My God Is the Sun,' a new song from their upcoming sixth album, ' ... Like Clockwork,' which will be released in June. It's the band's first album since 2007′s ‘Era Vulgaris’ and the first to be released on Matador Records.

Samples of some of the new songs can be heard on the band's website. ' ... Like Clockwork' will feature guest shots from Dave Grohl, Elton John and Trent Reznor, among others. Apparently Vedder, who wields a mean cowbell and has played with Queens of the Stone Age in the past, isn't one of them.
