Anthony James Lescowitch Jr. has been on the run from police since November of last year but it only took the police 45 minutes to capture him thanks to Facebook.

The Freeland Police Department posted Lescowitch's photo on the social media site and less than three minutes later he 'shared' the status adding:

LOL. I (beep)ing Love It, ***hole

Police believe Lescowitch shared the status publicly by accident. They watched on as he even had friends comment on the status with things like 'good luck.'

Shortly after the posting, an officer posed as a woman and began a conversation with Lescowitch. Over the course of the next 30 minutes, the officer was able to gather pertinent information as to his whereabouts and set up a meeting.

When Lescowitch arrived to meeting point he was met by police and arrested.

Two hours after the original posting, Freeland Police let their followers know:

CAPTURED!!!!!! SHARES OUR STATUS ON FACEBOOK ABOUT HIMSELF, CAPTURED 45 MINUTES LATER.

Lescowitch was one of four men believed to be involved in an assault in July where he hit the victim over the head before being robbed.
