This year is the last full cross-country run for Vans Warped Tour.  The show has been on the road for over twenty years, and has long been a staple for 'scene kids' and rock fans alike.  It's undeniable that Vans Warped Tour has built a community of rock, provided a plethora of self-help resources (if you've ever been to one, you know the villages of tents and support organizations), helped young bands to develop and garner exposure, and left it's everlasting mark in the music world.

Today, the lineup for the last run was announced, and with it came a traditional style of Warped Tour 'staples,' heavier bands, and newer bands.  Asking Alexandria, State Champs [of Albany, NY], Every Time I Die, and Underoath are some of the big names taking over the stages this summer.  Sum 41 and Simple Plan are among the staples.  Motionless in White, Falling in Reverse, Wage War, and Crown the Empire are among many of the bands on the lineup that have rocked the Capital District in the past year alone.  To see the full line-up, head to Warped's site here!  And for some of my backstage pics from the past, check out the gallery below!
