After Van Halen postponed 30 plus shows that were to begin July 7, those shows now apparently won’t be rescheduled and have been officially canceled. According to Pollstar, many of the previously postponed shows, including those in Uncasville, Conn.; Baltimore; Rochester, N.Y.; Detroit; Toledo, Ohio; Memphis, Tenn.; Sacramento, Calif.; Reno, Nev.; and Milwaukee are now listed as canceled on Ticketmaster.com.

After the original announcement in May, Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth denied that the reason for the postponements was that the band wasn’t getting along. “As usual we bit off more than we can chew when it came to scheduling. The band is winning but our schedule has been sidelined for unnecessary roughness,” explained Roth. “If we continue past July 4 and all the way into Australia and Japan then we’re asking for the robot zombie tour.”

In a USA Today interview last month, Eddie Van Halen echoed Roth’s story, and said the band would resume touring later this year. “So in November, we’ll hit Japan, and in the new year, we’ll possibly do something special, but I can’t talk about it.”

Van Halen did embark on a successful spring trek earlier this year in support of their new album ‘A Different Kind of Truth,’ and Loudwire was there for a show in New Hampshire. Check out our exclusive photo gallery here:
