UVM Faternity Asks “Who Would You Like To Rape?” in Survey

The Sigma Phil Epsilon Faternity at the  University of Vermont is getting suspended over a survey that asked members who they would like to rape? A representive from the faternity's national headquarters will be visiting to determine if the chapter should cease all operation.

The national Sigma Phi Epsilon organization says in a statement  that any behavior that demeans women is not tolerated.

University officials say the survey question was "incredibly offensive and inappropriate."

Somebody used poor judgement and they are investigating where the survey came from, who saw it and how it was used.   School officials contacted the national fraternity and police to determine if any crimes have been committed.

Perhaps the survey should have just asked who is your celebrity crush? Or who would you like to have consensual sex with?  Why the fraternity would need to ask such a question is beyond me.
