Utica Police are asking the public to help in their search for a missing 9-month-old child who hasn't been seen in two weeks.

The boys father, Jevon, reported the boy missing. According to the police report, Jevon went around unlock the back doors on May 29th. He left the child unattended and when he reached the front door of the house, he looked out and the boy was gone.

As the investigation began, Jevon asked for an attorney and has yet to talk with police further about the incident.

The Utica Police released the following statement today:

Missing: Levon Wameling, 9-month-old male, having blonde hair.

Last seen on May 29, 2013 at round 11:30 PM, wearing only a diaper. According to the baby's father he was taken from on the front porch of 748 Jay Street, Utica, NY. 

Message to our community: Someone, somewhere knows the whereabouts of this child. This is not the time to remain silent or not get involved.

WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL THIS CHILD IS FOUND.
