The suibokuga-inspired art style of the struggle for Shadaloo returns in these two trailers of Ultra Street Fighter 4.

Capcom has just released two new game trailers for Ultra Street Fighter 4, and both videos look absolutely marvelous. The first video is actually the cinematic opening that players will see on the finalized version of Ultra Street Fighter 4. This intro basically takes parts from Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4's openings and blends them together with more suibokuga brushstrokes done over them while adding a few new cutscenes featuring Ultra's new characters. Unfortunately, the intros for the original Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4 were both over three minutes long, so we were sad to see so many parts of them chopped together for a cinematic that wasn't even two minutes long. We said it before with Super Street Fighter 4 and we'll say it again with Ultra -- we miss the catchy, original theme song of "The Next Door" by Exile and these generic fighting themes just don't compare.

The second trailer focuses on the features coming with Ultra Street Fighter 4. The Ultra edition adds Capcom veterans Hugo, Rolento, Elena, Poison and newcomer Decapre to the roster. Also featured are the new gameplay features, such as a multi-character team mode, new levels, combined Ultra Combos, match recording, YouTube uploading and much more.

Owners of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition can buy Ultra Street Fighter 4 as a digital upgrade for the price of $14.99 this June. It will also be released as a standalone game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $39.99 and PC for $29.99 sometime in August.
