Great sadness met professional wrestling fans as they awoke today to hear the news of the passing of the Ultimate Warrior. Many now are looking back to his speech on Monday night during WWE's RAW as rings of irony today.

Warrior, who remained mostly out of the wrestling spotlight in recent years, was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame Saturday night. This was his first appearance in the WWE since the mid-90's.

Warrior was introduced by Linda McMahon and was accompanied by his two young daughters. He look at his daughters after they got to their seats saying how cool the event was. He also look to his wife, thanking her for sticking by him during the good and band times. Fans chanted for 'one more match' to which he replied that that was out of the question.

He would go on to make an appearance with the other inductees at Wrestlemania 30 on Sunday, followed up by an in -ring speech on Monday Night Raw. During his speech, Warrior said the following:

Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life, makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory, of those who honor him and make whatever the man did live forever.

He would then thank the crowd and the fans around the world before his music would hit one more time as he exited. Many fans today look at this speech with great irony. Did he know something already? Was he not well leading in to the Hall of Fame?

No report on the official cause of death were available at the time of this post. The entire Q103 team sends our thoughts and prayers to Warrior's wife and two young daughters.
